My Final Curriculum Vitae

My Final Curriculum Vitae

One of the most distasteful answers I've ever been forced to give an inquirer who asked "What do you do for a living?", was "I USED TO BE - - ".  Eyes glazed over and the conversation quickly ended.  It was like even the word retirement meant that there's nothing more you have to offer the world.

That's changed now, however, people do like to know a little about the people they are doing business with or deciding whether to start a relationship or friendship with.  So here are the details of "I used to be - ".

I awoke one morning and realized it was time for my life in the Corporate World, 1970 - 2003, to come to a conclusion.

My career in Marketing and Sales, the majority of which was spent in the exciting world of Cardiovascular Medicine, had provided me an exceptionally exciting and educational profession, and financial returns that allowed me to live through many recessions and be in a field still in its pioneer stage when I began in 1972, and participate in its growth into Interventional Cardiology and advanced Cardiovascular Techniques.

It was a glorious trip and I had been mentored by the World Renowned Pioneers in Cardiovascular Medicine and their exceptionally well trained and dedicated nurses and technicians.

Here's what it looks like on what would have been a Resume, but I no longer do Resumes.
