If you've ever listened to music on the radio, in concert, on records, etc., you have very likely listened to some of the songs written by Little David Wilkins.

I met Little David somewhere around 1975.  Can't remember for sure, but we managed to continue our friendships and musical interests and connections for at least what appears to be around 36 years, and we're still going, through a network established initially by our recently departed friend Lamar Fike who was one of the founders of the Memphis Mafia, Elvis's entourage and Lamar's cousin Tommy McDonald, my adopted brother (we sometimes choose who our non-biological family is).

David is truly one of the great entertainers, songwriters, and musicians who have been inducted into the Lifetime Achievement Award Rockabilly Hall Of Fame.  Wow!  I'm so proud of him!

And now, he's back writing, recording, and entertaining again (it seems eventually everyone takes a break from the business, but inevitably, comes back in again).  It is my hope to collaberate on writing a few songs together in the future.
