When I was a boy, I wanted to grow up to be a cowboy.
Along the way, I wanted to be: - A College Graduate. Done, with B.S. and M.B.A. Degrees - An Officer Of Marines. Done, 1st Lt. USMCR, Combat Veteran - A Business Man. Done, 34 years in the Corporate World. - An Entertainer. Done.
Did I do everything I wanted to do?
Pretty much so. I feel like I've come full circle and many of the people I respected in the entertainment world, are now gone. Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, etc., have passed on.
In 2010 I started my love of entertaining all over, once again. I may not ever be an overnight success, but I've enjoyed the trip and hopefully, my music has made a difference.
Did I ever grow up to be a cowboy?
It hard to say, but I sure grew up to look like one.
I've a few more adventures left to explore before the final adventure begins.
And can't think of many regrets I've had, but the adventures have been numerous, and I'm surrounded by the beauty of Colorado, hang out with my best friend and wife Sheila, cat Spirit, dog Molly. Who could ask for anything more.
But when it all ends for me on this earth, simply turn out the lights and let me move on to another great adventure.
